The Department of Humanities initially offered a Master’s Degree in English and plans to expand online programmes. We focus on enhancing language skills and social responsibility so students become effective professionals and citizens. Courses such as Communication Skills and Research in Linguistics/Literature prepare students for careers as instructors and for research.

The syllabus blends linguistics and literature while addressing Teaching of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). Early-semester courses develop study and presentation skills that help students locate relevant material and communicate effectively.
