The fee structure for online and distance learning programs will be announced after the formal approval and launch of the respective programs in accordance with the applicable regulatory framework. The University intends to offer a highly competitive and affordable fee structure compared to other online education providers, while maintaining high academic standards, quality teaching, modern learning technologies, and comprehensive student support services.

The objective is to ensure that quality higher education remains accessible to a wider community of learners, including working professionals, individuals residing in remote areas, and students facing time, distance, or other barriers to conventional on-campus education. Detailed program-wise fee information will be displayed and communicated once the programs are formally approved and offered.

Admission to COMSATS University Islamabad is highly competitive and merit-based. Higher Education Commission is currently in the process of finalizing the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) Policy and related compliance framework for universities in Pakistan. Accordingly, COMSATS University Islamabad will offer online and distance learning degree programs after obtaining the necessary approvals and in full compliance with the applicable HEC policies, guidelines, and regulations.
