Overview of the Office

To expand CIIT Virtual campus operations across the country, three regional offices have been established to facilitate respective study centers (private partners) and students in their administrative and academic matters. These offices are also helping us to enhance the operations and administration of the regional activities more smoothly.

Aim / Mission / Objectives
Aim of Regional offices is to propagate objectives of COMSATS Virtual Campus in the regions.
Furthermore, their objectives include:
  • To maintain close interaction with study centers and students of the regions
  • To provide the opportunity of higher study to backward areas where higher education institutes do not exist or have a very long distance
  • To exercise supervision over all study centers in districts of the region
  • To act as an advisor and assist the study centers and students in the region
Responsibilities of the Department
Major responsibilities of the department of Regional offices, include:
  • Induct new study centers (especially from remote areas)
  • Monitor the performance of existing study centers
  • Coordinate between head office and study centers
  • Perform local marketing activities
  • Suggest innovative and economical marketing activities
  • Provide guidance to regional students before and after admission
  • Support regional students in the ongoing operations
  • Looking for education needs of society and opportunities for growth of the Institute in different areas


Tasks of CIIT-VC Regional offices
Following are the tasks performed under supervision of Regional Manager at Regional offices:


Study Centers’ Matters
  • Meetings with study centers for finding solution to their concerned issues
  • Monitoring and inspection of study centers
  • Opening of new study centers after thorough inspection
  • Training of study centers for seamless running of operations with CIIT Virtual Campus
  • Data distribution to all study centers
  • Distribution of marketing material
  • Collaboration with study centers for deploying marketing strategies
Students’ Matters
  • Supporting students for their queries and concerns
  • Providing information to new students
  • Information desk for admission purpose
  • Data distribution to home based students when required
  • Assisting students for admission purpose
  • Call center for students and admissions follow up
  • On ground availability for students
Financial Matters
  • Receiving of invoices from study centers
  • Verification of invoices
  • Dispatching cheque of study centers received from head office
  • Resolving financial issues of study centers along with Head office, Islamabad
  • Dealing with internal financial issues of Regional office
Marketing
  • Devising marketing policies according to particular needs of the Region
  • Deploying marketing policies with available resources
  • Devising strategies to enhance PR of COMSATS Virtual Campus in Region
  • Reporting twice according to progress in session
