Program Overview

Public sector is the largest area of national development. Development needs of this sector require educated and qualified citizens to contribute to the growth and well being of national activities. Public Administration not only addresses the governance issues in the day to day management of various ministries, departments and related organizations, but also plays a major role in running various non profit organizations. More than Rs. 200 billion is allocated for formulating and implementing projects in all areas of national development, the efficient handling of which demands a competent professional force.

Objectives of the department of the management sciences to provide management expertise in all areas of nation building activity has so far been partially fulfilled through degree programs in Business administration. Introduction of Public Administration will fill the void for proving management expertise in the public sector and non-profit organizations.

Admission and Eligibility

Session: The programs are offered in Fall (September) and Spring (February) Session

Qualification:

  • Bachelor degree (14 years of education) or equivalent with minimum 50% marks from an accredited institution.

Test and Score: NTS test score with minimum 50% marks.

Program Duration:

The MPA program is a two years program comprising of 4 semesters.
